Afterclose: Night Delivery gear and loot guide
Gear in Afterclose: Night Delivery comes in four base rarities (Common, Magic, Rare, Legendary) plus Set, Unique and Runeword items. Every Legendary, Unique or Set drop has a 2% chance to be Primal, the strongest version. Enhancing never destroys gear: from +11 a failed attempt can lower the level by one, never below +10, and a Blessing prevents even that.
In short
- Primal chance: 2% of every Legendary, Unique or Set drop (about 1 in 50). Every affix is 15% higher and Power is 10% higher.
- Guaranteed drops: a Legendary within 150 gear drops, and a Unique within 60 drops from Bosses, Gear Boxes, Unique or Mythic mobs and Night Contracts.
- A failed enhancement never destroys gear. The level only drops from +11 and up, never below +10, and a Blessing prevents it.
- Runewords: fill every socket of a Common item with the right Runes in the exact order.
- Enhance Stones come from playing and from rewards. The Google Play and App Store versions have no in-app purchases, so they cannot be bought.
What do the gear rarities mean?
Gear fits one of four slots: Scanner, Boots, Chassis and Drone. Each item has a Gear Lv equal to the Day it dropped (up to 60), and every level above 1 adds 3% to its affixes and Power. Affixes are the stat bonuses on an item.
- Common: 1 affix and up to 3 Sockets (2 while Gear Lv is below 10). The usual kill drop.
- Magic: 2 affixes and up to 2 sockets.
- Rare: 3 affixes and up to 1 socket.
- Legendary: 4 affixes plus a Trait (a special ability) and up to 1 socket.
- Set: 4 Sets of 4 pieces. Wearing 2, 3 or 4 pieces of one Set unlocks a bonus at each count. No sockets.
- Unique: 20 named items with fixed affixes and a stronger Trait. No sockets.
- Runeword: a Common item whose sockets were all filled with the right Runes in the right order. Two-rune Runewords count as Rare-grade gear; three-rune ones count as Legendary-grade and carry a second Trait.
- Primal: a Legendary, Unique or Set item that won the 2% roll (below).
Unique and Set pieces also roll a Quality from 0 to 100%: their affixes vary by up to ±10% around the listed value, and the Cube can reroll it.
How likely is Primal gear?
Whenever a Legendary, Unique or Set item drops, the game rolls a 2% chance that it is Primal (on average 1 in 50). A Primal item has every affix 15% higher (whole-number affixes always gain at least +1) and 10% more Power; Primal Unique and Set pieces show Quality 100%.
Primal is decided only at the moment of the drop. Enhancing and the Cube cannot create it, and a Primal item cannot be rerolled at the Cube.
Where do Legendary, Unique and Set items come from?
Gear can drop from defeated threats, Bosses, Unique and Mythic mobs, Gear Boxes in the large stores and bonus gear from a Night Contract. The Legendary roll applies when the drop is not already a Unique or Set piece.
| Source | Legendary roll | Unique | Set piece |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plain kill drops | 0.03% + 0.02% per Day (max 0.6%) | — | 0.14% |
| Bosses | 1% + 0.25% per Day (max 8%) | 1.5% | 5% |
| Unique and Mythic mobs (per roll) | 1% + 0.25% per Day (max 8%) | 1.2% | 4% |
| Gear Boxes in large stores | 1.2% + 0.25% per Day (max 8%) | 0.9% | 3.5% |
| Night Contract bonus gear | 0.8% + 0.15% per Day (max 6%) | 0.8% | 3.5% |
Unique and Set chances are per drop. A Unique mob always drops 3 pieces of gear, a Mythic mob 5 and a Boss 3, while ordinary kills drop gear only sometimes. Drops from Unique and Mythic mobs are created at a Gear Lv 2 higher than the Day, so the Legendary formula above and the Days when Uniques and Sets start dropping use that higher level for them.
How do the Legendary and Unique gauges work?
Two counters protect you from bad luck. The Legendary gauge grows by one with every gear drop that is not Legendary and resets on a Legendary or Unique, so you always get a Legendary within 150 gear drops. The Unique gauge grows with every drop from a Boss, a Gear Box, a Unique or Mythic mob or a Night Contract that is not a Unique. From 35 on, the Unique chance rises by up to 20 percentage points, and at 60 the next such drop is a guaranteed Unique. Both gauges are shown as the Jackpot Gauge in Gear Setup.
The first time you defeat each Mythic mob, it also drops a guaranteed Legendary.
How do Runes, Sockets and Runewords work?
The 12 Runes are not gear; they go into your Rune Bag. Higher Runes are rarer: each Rune shows up about 55% as often as the one below it, and each one only starts dropping from a certain Day.
| Rune | Rank | Starts dropping |
|---|---|---|
| Receipt Rune | 1 | Day 1 |
| Barcode Rune | 2 | Day 1 |
| Coin Rune | 3 | Day 1 |
| Sticker Rune | 4 | Day 3 |
| Neon Rune | 5 | Day 6 |
| Frost Rune | 6 | Day 8 |
| Bolt Rune | 7 | Day 10 |
| Magnet Rune | 8 | Day 12 |
| Comet Rune | 9 | Day 15 |
| Vault Rune | 10 | Day 18 |
| Midnight Rune | 11 | Day 20 |
| Dawn Rune | 12 | Day 24 |
Rune drop chances: 100% from a Boss, 50% from a Gear Box, 40% at the end of a shift, 30% from a Unique mob, always from a Mythic mob, and 1% from ordinary kills.
Put a Rune into an empty socket in Gear Setup. It adds a bonus that depends on the slot, and a socketed Rune cannot be removed. A Runeword appears when the last socket of a Common item is filled and the Runes match a recipe in the exact order. There are 12 Runewords; the 2-rune ones use low Runes and the 3-rune ones need the high Runes.
| Runeword | Slot | Runes in order | Starts dropping | Traits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Payout | Scanner | Receipt → Coin | Day 1 | Price Tag Mark |
| Blizzard | Scanner | Frost → Bolt → Frost | Day 10 | Frost Scan + Ice Shards |
| Late-Night Broadcast | Scanner | Midnight → Bolt → Comet | Day 20 | Piercing Laser + Chain Scan |
| Way Home | Boots | Barcode → Sticker | Day 3 | Neon Boost |
| Lightning Delivery | Boots | Bolt → Magnet → Barcode | Day 12 | Cart Body Slam + Phantom Dodge |
| Dawn Comet | Boots | Comet → Dawn → Neon | Day 24 | Comet Sprint + Blaze Trail |
| Parcel Box | Chassis | Sticker → Receipt | Day 3 | Cardboard Cushion |
| Vending Fortress | Chassis | Magnet → Frost → Coin | Day 12 | Vending Supply + Thunder Counter |
| Immortal Vault | Chassis | Vault → Midnight → Dawn | Day 24 | Emergency Vault + Cargo Shield |
| Recycling | Drone | Coin → Barcode | Day 1 | Spill Recovery |
| Surveillance System | Drone | Bolt → Neon → Magnet | Day 12 | CCTV Watch + Twin Drone |
| Sky Parcel | Drone | Dawn → Comet → Vault | Day 24 | Air Delivery + Collector Drone |
What can the Cube do?
The Cube appears in Gear Setup once you hold 3 Runes. It has five recipes:
- Upgrade Rune: 3 of the same Rune make 1 Rune of the next rank. The Dawn Rune is the highest.
- Add Sockets: socketless Common or Magic gear plus 1 Receipt Rune gives it a random number of sockets, from 1 up to the maximum.
- Reroll Stats: a Unique or Set piece (not Primal) plus 1 Midnight Rune rerolls its Quality.
- Swap Set Piece: a Set piece plus 3 Sticker Runes becomes a piece for a different slot of the same Set.
- Unique Fusion: 3 ordinary Legendary items (not Unique, Set or Runeword) plus 1 Comet Rune make a random Unique that is unlocked at your best Day.
What are the Forge odds, and what happens when enhancement fails?
The Forge is the Enhance tab in Gear Setup. Enhancement belongs to the slot, not to the item, so swapping gear keeps the slot's level. Each of the four slots goes from +0 to +20. Every try costs Enhance Stones and has the base success rate below.
Failure never destroys gear. Up to +10 a failed try simply leaves the level where it is. Once a slot is at +11 or higher, a failure lowers it by one level, but it never falls below +10. A Blessing (one ad or one Blessing Ticket) adds 10 percentage points and prevents the drop.
| Target level | Base success rate | Enhance Stones | If it fails |
|---|---|---|---|
| +1 | 100% | 5 | Level stays |
| +2 | 95% | 8 | Level stays |
| +3 | 90% | 12 | Level stays |
| +4 | 85% | 16 | Level stays |
| +5 | 80% | 22 | Level stays |
| +6 | 70% | 30 | Level stays |
| +7 | 60% | 40 | Level stays |
| +8 | 55% | 50 | Level stays |
| +9 | 50% | 65 | Level stays |
| +10 | 45% | 80 | Level stays |
| +11 | 40% | 100 | Level stays |
| +12 | 35% | 120 | Drops 1 level |
| +13 | 30% | 150 | Drops 1 level |
| +14 | 25% | 180 | Drops 1 level |
| +15 | 20% | 220 | Drops 1 level |
| +16 | 12% | 400 | Drops 1 level |
| +17 | 10% | 500 | Drops 1 level |
| +18 | 8% | 600 | Drops 1 level |
| +19 | 6% | 700 | Drops 1 level |
| +20 | 5% | 800 | Drops 1 level |
Every failure raises that slot's Luck Gauge by 5 percentage points (up to 100), and the gauge is added to the next try. A success resets it to 0.
Levels also raise your Payout Score on the three scoring slots (Scanner, Boots, Chassis; the Drone only improves drone stats): +1.5% per level up to +10, +3% per level from +11 and +5% per level from +16 (Transcend). With all three slots at +10 / +15 / +20 that is +45% / +90% / +165%.
A slot at +20 can Star Enhance without limit: 20% base chance, 800 stones plus 40 for each star it already has. Each star adds 2% to your payout score (stars multiply), and a failure never loses a star. You can stack up to 3 Blessing Tickets on a Star Enhance for 10 points each.
Where do Enhance Stones and Blessing Tickets come from?
Enhance Stones come from playing and from rewards: shift rewards, Attendance Stamps, Pico's Warehouse, salvaging gear, breakthrough and rank promotion rewards, the Bounty Board and ad rewards. The Google Play and App Store versions have no in-app purchases, so they cannot be bought. You start with 30, and the First Shift Training adds 10.
Salvaging pays 1 stone for Common gear, 2 for Magic, 5 for Rare and 12 for Legendary. Bulk salvage skips Set, Unique, Primal and Runeword gear, gear with Runes in it and Common gear with 2 or more empty sockets (a possible Runeword base).
Blessing Tickets come from Attendance Stamps, bonus boxes, rank promotions, breakthrough rewards, or by trading Parts: 150 Parts each for the first 2 trades of the day, and more after that. A breakthrough reward is paid the first time you reach a new Day: 5 Enhance Stones per Day number, plus 1 Blessing Ticket on every 5th Day.

FAQ
How likely is Primal gear in Afterclose: Night Delivery?
Each Legendary, Unique or Set drop has a 2% chance to be Primal, about 1 in 50. Primal items have every affix 15% higher, 10% more Power, and Primal Unique and Set pieces show Quality 100%.
Does gear break when enhancement fails?
No. Gear is never destroyed. Up to +10 a failure keeps the level. From +11 a failure lowers the slot by one level, never below +10, unless you used a Blessing.
How do you make a Runeword?
Take a Common item with the right number of sockets and fill every socket with the Runes of a Runeword recipe in the exact order. 2-rune Runewords use low Runes, 3-rune ones need high Runes and add a second Trait.
How do you get a Unique item?
Unique items drop from Bosses, Gear Boxes, Unique and Mythic mobs and Night Contract bonus gear. The Unique gauge guarantees one within 60 such drops, and the Cube can fuse 3 Legendary items and a Comet Rune into a random Unique.
Checked against the game's code and in-game text on October 10, 2026, for the Google Play and App Store versions. Numbers can change when the game is updated.
